NEA response to BEIS Warm Home Discount Scheme 2022-26 Consultation

NEA is delighted that the Energy White Paper and this consultation confirms the expanded scheme will continue until at least April 2026. Whilst these key developments mark significant progress, some of the details of the proposals within the consultation have the potential to undermine the positive policy intent stated within the White Paper. NEA hopes that BEIS will:

1. Improve fairness within Core Group 2
2. Reduce the risk placed on Industry Initiative delivery organisations
3. Ensure there is sufficient funding for energy and income advice
