Making Energy Fair for All
Over 40 years of practical support through crisis and change
At National Energy Action (NEA), you’ll join a passionate team dedicated to ending fuel poverty for millions across the UK. Our work spans policy, advocacy, advice, research, and fundraising – making a real impact during a critical time in the energy crisis.
While our head office is in Newcastle, we support flexible working options including part-time, hybrid, or remote roles through regional hubs in Wales, London, and the North West. We offer transparent pay, an 11.5% non-contributory pension, and generous annual leave, reflecting our commitment to supporting the people who drive our mission.
Organisational culture
At National Energy Action, our culture is built around our values: putting people first, making things happen, and leading the way.
We work collaboratively, support one another, and focus on what really matters — making a meaningful difference for the people and communities we serve.
We value openness, kindness, and clear communication, and we aim to create an environment where people feel trusted, respected, and able to do their best work.
Flexible working
We offer flexible working arrangements to support different needs, working styles, and life circumstances. Depending on the role, this may include hybrid working, home-based roles, office-based roles, part-time hours, or adjusted working patterns.
Flexibility is considered on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the requirements of the role, the team, and the organisation.
If you have questions about flexibility, our People team can discuss options with you confidentially.
