Providing Primary School students with interactive, engaging opportunities to move beyond the curriculum

Workshops and lessons

Every KS1 and KS2 workshop includes downloadable curriculum‑linked lessons and activities covering topics such as English, Maths, Science, PSHE, Careers and Green Skills—helping schools build on workshop learning and even create a dedicated ‘Energy Week’. Workshops run for two hours, with flexible delivery to suit your timetable.

KS1 Workshop

Keep warm, keep cosy

Bring energy learning to life with Hey, Piggy, Piggy! Using fun, lively clips from our performance‑based twist on The Three Little Pigs, pupils in Years 1 and 2 explore which materials keep us warm and how to stay safe at home. Schools can build on the half‑day workshop with a suite of PSHE, English, and science activities—all designed to boost energy awareness in a memorable, exciting way.

Lower KS2 Workshop

Energy in mind

This workshop explores the importance of energy efficiency and how energy is produced, along with its impact on the environment. Learners will examine the potential hazards associated with using energy in the home and investigate how insulation helps maintain warmth. The session also provides practical guidance on making positive changes to everyday energy-related behaviours.

Upper KS2 Workshop

Let’s go green

This dynamic half‑day workshop brings renewable energy to life! Learners discover how green technologies can power our world while protecting the planet. They explore how we use energy at home, uncover the environmental cost of wasting it, and work together to imagine smarter, cleaner solutions. The session wraps up with a hands‑on design challenge: creating an innovative renewable‑energy device of the future.

Upper Key Stage 2

Fuel Poverty: Youth insights for change

Youth Insights for Change explores how national charities collect evidence to influence government decision‑making. The workshop sensitively examines young people’s experiences and understanding of living in a fuel‑poor home, and the wider impacts this can have on families. Learners are encouraged to consider what support could help households in need and to reflect on who is responsible for ending fuel poverty. Lively, engaging, and discussion‑rich, this workshop is an excellent addition to any student council or ECO club.
