Our Mobile Advice Centre
Our Mobile Advice Centre (MAC) aims to meet hard-to-reach audiences. We bring Carbon Monoxide home safety, and awareness about the Priority Services Register, as well as wider energy bill support when required.
The MAC brings two qualified energy advisers from National Energy Action, Tim Redfern and Geraldine Reynolds.
With two offices there is space to discuss more complex issues around energy, benefits and the cost of living. If needs be, clients can be referred to National Energy Action’s wider specialist advice teams.
Our MAC is funded by Cadent who provide the gas pipe network infrastructure across North London and in other regions.
The remit is to reach as far and wide in the North London area to those communities who often have no immediate support to hand. We work with everyone from tenants associations to foodbanks, community fetes to markets, babyzones and garden centres as well as the NHS trust and various borough councils.
The service is free. If you are part of an organisation that might benefit from a MAC visit, get in touch at macenquiries@nea.org.uk
