NG6: Cold Homes, Terminal Illness, and How to Support Clients

WEBINAR SPOTLIGHT SESSION

People with terminal illnesses are among the most vulnerable to fuel poverty, yet they are often the least likely to access support. This spotlight provides frontline energy advisers, caseworkers and support staff with the knowledge and confidence to identify risk, understand the health impacts of cold homes, and apply key elements of NICE Guideline NG6 to improve outcomes for clients at the end of life.

Participants will explore lived experiences, learn how to apply NG6 recommendations, and understand the practical tools and support schemes available to help clients stay warm, safe, and supported.

This spotlight equips frontline staff with practical skills to understand how terminal illness, fuel poverty, and cold homes intersect, apply relevant NG6 recommendations in real-world casework, and confidently navigate specialist support services and financial assistance options.
